Undoubtedly the Jewel in the Crown is the Mighty Burdekin River, with a catchment area of 130,000 square Km it is one of the largest River systems in Australia, with such a large catchment and the constant stocking of Barramundi along numerous portions of the upper reaches of the river this equates to a system that holds some of the biggest numbers of Big barramundi on the east coast of Queensland, the Burdekin river is simply a must visit destination for any keen Barramundi Fisherman
